This was my 2nd and definitely not my last time to Dubai. Flying Emirates is always a pleasure. With their 777 and A380 fleet, you're always in for a Heavy Takeoff! After we climb out and complete the crosswind leg, you'll notice The World Islands and The Palm Jumeirah. Hope you enjoy! Gotta love this service by Alaska/Horizon! Short flight over to the Sierra Nevada from LAX to satisfy your ski or snowboard craving. This is my 2nd time on a Dash 8 and its one of my fav aircraft to be in. It's a smooth flyer and the propeller sound is truly unique.

Emirates Airline Boeing 773 777 300ER takeoff from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Video was shot from seat 9K in Business Class. Although not necessarily as loud of a growl as the Trent engines, the GE90's sure have a nice spool up sound and my goodness is the thrust overwhelming. Probably flew right over my house in south Glasgow, Scotland. You always see high altitude jets heading to and from North America to mainland Europe and vice versa fly over here.
